When you first came to my life

I felt something was different

I knew you felt it too

But so strange that feeling was

It was something my heart, never knew

Things flew by past, I silently watched

As time went by

We got close, oh so much!

I felt like I could just fly to the heaven itself

Well yeah, not perfect it was,

But I loved you more each day

It was such a mystery to me, but I didn't care

For the first time ever

My heart was so full

Something no one has done for me before

It was such a wonderful start

To a path I never hoped to be a part

We were two souls combined

To a complete bliss together

It seemed as though our thoughts had rhymed

A bit bitter mixed with sweetness

That was a taste to get used to

But I held on with faith

Although there were times

When we would disagree and fight

It would always work out in the end

As though we were invincible

Because we were just so tight

With all the books I have ever read, among all the heroes I have loved in them, not a single character was able to touch my heart the way the character of Snape did.
J.K. Rowling has built that character in a careful yet perfect way that although we hated him for so long we all wept at his death. 
The author subtly made us feel about  immense love he had on Lily Evans which is beyond the reach of words that any girl may silently wish for a man who would love them the way Snape did for Lily. A love that is truly selfless that any time I think of it deeply, I feel a spark of pain at my heart which may sometimes follows with a tear. 
He gives a whole new meaning to the word "Always".

From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe: She landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
“After all this time?”
“Always,” said Snape

Alan Rickman who played Snape in Harry Potter movies suited the character so well that there were hardly any difference between the Snape who was imaged at our minds and the him. This post is dedicated to Alan Rickman for today is his birthday.

ආගන්තුක උණුහුමක්
පැතිරුණි උයන පුරාවට
මල් කැකුලියෝ කුතුහලෙන්
බලද්දී හරවමින් සිය රූමත් හිස්
අලුත් මල් කැකුලක් පිපී ඇත
උයන පිවිසුම අද්දරම...

රන්වන් සිනිදු පෙති
රතු දිදුලන තොල්
සිනහවක් බැබලෙමින මුවග
නැත කිසිදු කෝල බවක්
හිනැහුණි ඇය සැවොම සමගින්
දල්වමින් සිය නෙත්...

නොසතුටුව මේ ගැන
අන් මල් සියල්ලම
මුමුනන්ට ගති එකිනෙකා හා
තරහින්, ඉරිසියාවද සමගින්,
දකිමින්, මී මැසි සමනල්ලු
දැවටෙනු අලුත් මල අසලම...

පුංචි පිච්ච කැකුලිය උයන කොණ
බල සිටියාය එනතුරු

The Fallen Warrior!

"The battle lasted long,
So long that one hardly remembered
That there was a time without it"
Said grand ma, to the eager kids listening
Siting at her feet...
"And then what happened grand ma?"
The kids asked longing,
"There came a warrior, my kids,
Battle worn, he was..
Brave and bold
Scarred from the wounds
That enemies gave him..."
Kids bowed front
With there fists on cheeks they listened,
"With his fellow brave soldiers
The warrior won the battle
Triumphant with the victory
He came back..

People fell on their knees
