It’s Cinderella’s birthday! :)
It is special than other birthdays she passed for she finished her teenage from this day. In the end of this special day she sits back and lets her mind drift on thinking about the days that have passed, on how far she has ‘achieved’ things in life for life is an eternal quest about knowing oneself.
She remembers how she spent her childhood in a beautiful rural village for her mother had to move to that village to complete her rural appointment as a teacher. It was not an ordinary sophisticated life that many of Cinderella’s friends got to follow when they were small. Yet, it was full of rich experiences and she was able to grow up without being spoiled by modern luxuries. She saw how flowers bloom in the morning, heard the chirps and songs of birds, touched the earth and amazed at the way rain had carved patterns on it. She grew up seeing and being with people – ordinary people – the real people.
Today, when she turned 20, she got to understand the life is solely about achieving people. The true success of it is not measured by how much money you got in your bank account, nor from how many degrees you have got in your pocket. It is all about how many people you have won through.
In the moment you close your eyes to blow your birth day candles, the whole world stops. It is a rare moment to in which you feel so grateful for being so much loved and cared. :) She takes this as an opportunity to thank all her friends who made her feel really like a princess in her special day.

She is a person who loves herself so much having a good confidence in herself. She's contented with the things she has achieved so far in her life. Living through 20 years has not been an easy task.In this blissful moment, Cinderella takes a deep breath, smiles and utters these words.
“I am Me. In the entire world, there is no one else exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine, because I alone chose it .
I own everything about me: my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or myself.
I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears. I own my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes.
Because I own all of me,
I can become intimately acquainted with me.
By so doing, I can love me and be friendly with all my parts.
I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other aspects that I do not know but as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and ways to find out more about me.
However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me.
If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought, and felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel, think, say, and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore, I can engineer me. I am me, and that's the best I can be! ”

ReplyDeleteLife indeed is beautiful...
it all depends on how we see it..
once we think my life is miserable nothing can change it..
once we start thinking life is wonderful nothing can change it either.. :)
